Late Pt Banarsidas Chaturvedi And Late Shri Subodh Chandra Chaturvedi Memorial T20 Tournament Firozabad(U.p)

This Tournament was organized at Firozabad from 21 October to 24 October

2010 on Om Glass Stadium Raja ka Taal Firozabad.

In this Tournament 8 team participated ,there names are following

1.     Kanpur

2.     Agra

3.     Gwalior

4.     Mainpuri

5.     Mathura

6.     Lucknow

7.     Bhopal

8.     Firozabad

The Inauguration of Tournament was done by Shri Rohit Chaturvedi ,former Ranji player and Asst Director Sports U.P

Inauguration match was played between Firozabad and Mathura on 21 october

at 09:30 A.M  Captian of Firozabad Team Dr Manoj Chaturvedi won the toss

and decided to bat first. Firozabad made 77 runs after loosing all wickets

in this match Mathura won .In which Captian of Mathura shri Amit Chaturvedi

got the title of man of the match and Prafful Chaturvedi best batsman and

Gaurav Chaturvedi adjudged  best bowler of the match and prize was

distributed by Chairman Firozabad  City Board Shri Manish Asija .

Second match was to be  played on 21 October at 01:00 pm between Kanpur

and  Agra  but Kanpur did not reached  the ground so walkover was given to

Agra team. To oblige Agra team a friendly match was played between Agra and

Firozabad in this match Agra won the toss and decided to bat first and made

120 runs  in the  reply Firozabad won the match with loss of 3 wickets only.

Third match was organized on 22 October at 09:30 am  between Gwalior and

Lucknow  in which Gwalior won the toss and invited Lucknow to bat first.

Lucknow team made 146 runs in 20 overs  in reply Gwalior made only 126 runs

And lost the match.

Fourth match was organized on 22 October 1:00 pm between Bhopal and

Mainpuri. Bhopal won the toss and decided to bat first they made 98 runs,

in reply mainpuri made 102 runs and won the match

Fifth match semi final was played between Mathura and Agra

On 23 October at 09:30 am  in wich Agra won the toss and there Captain

Dr Hamendra Chaturvedi invited Mathura to bat first. Mathura made 100 runs

In 20 overs  with loss of 8 wickets. Agra won the match by loosing 7 wickets

and made their place in Final

On 23 October at01:00 pm other semi final match was played between

Lucknow and Mainpuri  in which Mainpuri won the toss and decided to bat first 

they made 179 runs in 20 overs with loss of 6 wickets, in reply Lucknow made

only 102 runs and lost the match  and mainpuri made their place in Final.

On 24 October Final match was Played between Agra and Mainpuri

Agra won the toss and invited mainpuri to bat first, mainpuri made 190 runs

In 20 overs with loss of 3 wickets in reply Agra made 139 runs only  and lost the

Match.

Man of the match was given to Ayush Chaturvedi

Best batsman Sudershan Chaturvedi

Best bowler Manoj Chaturvedi

Man of the series trophy was given to Somitra Chaturvedi of Mainpuri

Which was in memory of Late Shri Kanhaiyalal Chaturvedi

Best batsman trophy was also given to Somitra Chaturvedi of Mainpuri

Which was in memory of Late Shri Kailash Chandra Chaturvedi

Best bowler trophy was given to Manoj Mishra of Mainpuri

Which was in memory of Late Shri Arun Prakash Chaturvedi

Runner-up trophy was given by Dr Nisheeth Chaturvedi

( director Dr Ram manoharlohia Hospital and guest of honor of the prize

distribution function of the Tournament)

 to Dr Hamendra Chaturvedi  Captain of Agra team

which was in memory of Late Shri Subodh Chandra Chaturvedi

Winners trophy was given by Dr Pradeep Chaturvedi

to Manikant Chaturevdi  captain of Mainpuri  team
